This New Residence is a secondary home and is part of a group of homes and accessory buildings owned by the same client. This house is sited close to the road to take advantage of the large site, view beyond and to create an open yard and garden between the owner's buildings. To screen the home and gardens from the road noise, the roadside facade is poured-in-place concrete. Water features help to screen any noise as well so that when one is enjoying the patios and gardens the experience feels quiet and secluded. Views to the inter-coastal waterway are enjoyed from living areas of all the structures. Previous projects on this site include a renovation and a new studio designed by Montgomery Architecture.
